KPI Programme

The KPI Programme commenced in 2006 as a Ministry of Health (MoH) funded, provider-led initiative, in which the KPI Project designed and implemented the KPI Framework for New Zealand Mental Health & Addictions Services (KPI Framework).

The KPI Framework, through the national benchmarking process, has brought about quality and performance improvement across the sector and has enabled DHBs and NGOs to report nationally comparable indicators of service performance.
