Our Commitment
The Northern Region Child Health Network is committed to lifting the health of children in the region, for better outcomes by reducing disparity and working collectively.

Who We Are
Our Network involves child health teams from the 4 Northern Region DHBs, Primary Care organisations, Well Child Tamariki Ora and other Child Health Services. We aim to link around the focus of improving Child Health for our region. A steering group of clinical and managerial leads provide oversight for our regional plan.

Our Plan
The current Child Health Plan (2016/17) brings new emphasis on Obesity and Oral health, and builds on a set of previous projects: Integrated Enrolment Systems, Sudden Unexpected Death of Infants (SUDI) Prevention, Skin Infection Prevention, Home Injury Prevention and Head Injury Management.
